Children's Urgent Care

Little accidents are bound to happen. When your child is hurt or sick, you want them to get treatment right away. But a trip to the emergency room for a minor problem can be scary. Plus, there are the long waits.

Get pediatric urgent care at an AFC Care clinic instead. Our kid-friendly medical approach is proven to help kids relax. We offer short wait times and an equally qualified medical team trained in kids’ urgent care. We’re open seven days a week with extended morning and evening hours.

Crawl or Walk in. No Appointment Needed

Getting in to see your regular pediatrician taking too long? With our advanced X-ray facilities and on-site lab, we can diagnose and treat the most common childhood illnesses and injuries in a single visit. Even though we specialize in children’s urgent care, we can also handle wellness checkups.

Pediatric Urgent Care FAQs

QUESTION:  What is the scope of pediatric urgent care at AFC centers?

ANSWER: We offer infants, toddlers, and teens comprehensive urgent care for non-life-threatening injuries and illnesses, including treatment for the flu, colds, bronchitis, and other illnesses. We can also treat common conditions like eczema and acne.

QUESTION:  What about vaccines and physicals?

ANSWER: Absolutely! Our medical professionals are equipped to deliver vaccines for common illnesses like hepatitis, measles, chickenpox, flu, and more. You can also count on us for your child’s yearly school physical if your pediatrician is unavailable.

QUESTION:  Will I need to schedule an appointment for my child?

ANSWER: No. One of the benefits of an AFC center in your neighborhood is the convenience it provides. Appointments are never necessary, and patients are usually in and out within an hour!

How do I get the COVID-19 Vaccine?

Getting a COVID-19 vaccine is the best, safest way to not get severely ill. Like all vaccines, the COVID-19 vaccine teaches your body how to develop its own immunity to the virus that causes this illness. A COVID-19 vaccine usually requires two doses. The second shot happens 14 to 28 days after the first. It takes about three weeks after your last shot to develop immunity. Getting a COVID-19 vaccination will depend on availability and guidelines in your state.
