At AFC Urgent Care Arlington, we also offer the following occupational health services:

Respiratory Fit Test – Employers want to make sure their potential hires are healthy, so many require pre-employment respiratory fit tests. These are performed to ensure employees aren’t suffering from any debilitating respiratory infections, such as Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease.

Pulmonary Function Test – Certain occupations require its applicants to undergo a pulmonary function test prior to employment. This ensures that every employee is physically capable of performing each of their job’s required tasks.

Lift Test -Different labor jobs need their employees to be able to lift heavy objects. This is usually enforced by having employees lift at least a specified weight. At our center, we conduct lift tests on behalf of employers on a walk-in basis.

Tuberculosis Skin Test (PPD) – Our center provides in-house testing to see if patients have any tuberculosis exposure.

Vision/Whisper Test – At AFC Urgent Care Arlington, we test patients’ vision to see if they are shortsighted/nearsighted or are colorblind. Our hearing tests include both whisper tests and Rhine and Weber tests.
