There are things you can do to minimize exposure like avoid going barefoot in public showers or locker rooms and keeping your feet dry and clean.
The symptoms of athlete’s foot include, red, peeling, and dry skin on the bottom of your foot or both feet. The dryness and flaking may also spread to the top and side of the foot.
