What we need:
A Clinic Manager to manage all clinical operations and supervise a non-provider staff of a growing urgent care medical practice in a brand new clinic location. The qualified candidate will have at least 5 years of Medical Industry work history as well as a minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience. Bachelor’s degree in Business or a Health-Related Concentration preferred, but not required. The Clinic Manager candidate must collaborate with providers to ensure the clinic operates efficiently and profitably. Experience in medical practice management is required. Excellent communication, attention to detail, ability to motivate and effectively lead the team are essential skills. Flexibility and prioritization of tasks a must.
Essential functions:
- Staffing and scheduling of Medical Assistants and Medical Front Office Receptionists
- Monitoring, coaching and evaluating the performance of staff
- Ensure that staff is adequately trained
- Ensure that staff complete the on-boarding process
- Enforce company policies and procedures
- Manage supplies including inventory and ordering
- Work with vendors and authorize invoices for supply orders
- Interface with the billing department to optimize clinic revenue
- Ensure that customer/patient service needs are met
- Responsible for customer service scores related to patient experience
- Function as a clinic liaison with external businesses
Job Skills:
- Ability to utilize electronic medical records systems
- Proficient use of back-office equipment
- Intermediate skills with word processing, spreadsheets, and slideshow presentation software.
- Public speaking and presentation ability
- Ability to utilize coaching techniques to manage and develop team members
- Customer service skills
- Understanding of functionality of medical billing cycle and revenue cycle management
- Provide customer service in accordance with clinic mission
- Demonstrate the ability to be courteous and respectful when interacting with patients and family members
- Exceptional telephone skills
