Common Slip and Fall Diagnosis Castle Rock, CO

At AFC Urgent Care Castle Rock, we are here to provide patients with the most immediate care, treatment, and medical diagnosis. A very common problem for most Coloradans is experiencing a slip and fall as the long winters cause snowy and icy weather. A slip and fall is not only painful but may cause more severe damage than expected. The good news for patients is that our clinic provides a great alternative to the ER since we accept major insurance carriers, offer walk-in clinic care, and serve patients on a first-come, first, serve basis. Not only our x-rays fast for when you slip and hurt yourself, but they are affordable on a same-day visit.

AFC Urgent Care FAQs

  • Is it dangerous to get an X-ray?

X-rays do use small amounts of radiation, but they’re generally safe for adults and children. That being said, there are some cases where they can be damaging – to developing babies, for instance. Your AFC provider will take your circumstances into account and answer your unique questions about safety.

  • How do I know if I’ll need an X-ray?

Your local AFC team can help you answer that question when you contact them. If you’ve experienced a fall or other injury and are in pain, an X-ray could help determine the best course of treatment. They’re also used in a variety of other circumstances.

  • How long does it take to get an X-ray?

At AFC, we always strive to get you in and out as quickly as possible, and the X-ray itself should only take around 15 minutes
