Why Choose AFC for COVID-19 Testing

COVID testing is an important service whether you’re vaccinated or not. Many people remain vulnerable to COVID-19, and if you’re feeling sick, you could be putting those around you at risk. AFC offers COVID testing right on-site, giving you quick results to let you know whether or not you have COVID-19. Furthermore, we also test for Flu A/B and strep, illnesses that produce similar symptoms, so even if you don't have COVID, we can get you the proper treatment.

The Process of Getting a COVID Test

Your AFC clinic can perform two different COVID tests: A Rapid COVID-19 Nucleic Acid Amplification Test or a RT-PCR COVID-19 test. You will receive your rapid results before you leave the clinic and PCR results are available the following day.

We know that if you’re feeling sick, the last thing you need is to wait for an appointment, so feel free to walk right in to your local AFC to request a test.

If it turns out that you do have COVID-19, our providers will set you up with a treatment plan that could include medication, plenty of fluids, rest, and of course, staying home.
