When children receive mosquito bites, their discomfort can be difficult for parents to endure. Thankfully, there are some creative home remedies that can supply them with some relief from the scratching.

Home Bug Bite Remedies

  • Honey is antiseptic and antibacterial, and can also reduce inflammation.
  • Aloe vera gel might be something you only break out for sunburns, but it can seriously reduce itchiness as well due to the cool feeling it provides to the skin.
  • You can also create an oatmeal bath or mix a paste of oatmeal and water to apply directly onto the bites.
