What Do We Look For At Wellness Physicals?

At Urgent Care AFC–Dale City, we take a comprehensive approach to your wellness physical. At your appointment, you can expect us to check the following:

• Talk with your provider. During your wellness physical, you will have a chance to talk with your provider. You will go over your medical history, family medical history and you should make sure to go over any questions or concerns that you may have about your physical or mental health.
• Discuss medications. Your provider will discuss with you any medications you are taking, as well as any vitamins or supplements.
• Provide a questionnaire. Your provider will ask you to fill out a questionnaire in order to assess your health risks.
• Take measurements. During your wellness physical, your provider will take your measurements, including your blood pressure, height and weight.
• Mental health screening. Your provider may include a mental health screening with your physical in order to assess your mental health.
