Urgent Care Near Modena, PA

No appointment needed to be seen by a board-certified doctor at our walk-in clinic near Modena, PA

If you need Urgent Care treatment in Modena, there is no better place to visit than AFC Urgent Care Downingtown. If you are suffering from a nonlife-threatening illness or injury in Modena, PA, our state-of-the-art urgent care center can treat you at a fraction of the cost compared to an emergency room. We are a great choice if your primary care doctor in Modena is unavailable or you cannot wait for days to be seen. Our cost-effective alternative to the ER is staffed with experienced nurses, medical assistants, and board-certified doctors. No appointment is needed to be seen by a doctor or receive most of the services at our clinic. We welcome walk-ins seven days a week at our facility.

If I need urgent care in Modena, how much will it cost me?

Your insurance will determine the fee to see a doctor at our walk-in urgent care center. This fee is generally printed on your insurance card with the emergency room fee. In most cases, this fee will be lower than going to an Modena emergency room. Additional charges may be needed if you need diagnostic services like x-rays or lab work. Some insurance companies will cover these additional fees, while others do not. Our staff will do their best to review any charges that your visit may incur. We will make every attempt to submit these charges to your insurance company for coverage. If your insurance company rejects your claim, we can provide you with a full report of your visit to appeal it or if you need to file a claim on your own. Please note that if you are coming in for a service that does not require a doctor's visit, the fees are generally less than the urgent care fee.

Can I receive immediate care and treatment at your walk-in clinic if I am uninsured in Modena?

Yes, we have discounted self-pay rates for anyone uninsured. Again, your bill will depend on what services you need at our clinic. The self-pay price to see one of our doctors is $130. We will review all costs and fees with you before we begin treatment.

Do you have to pay for treatment or services at your walk-in clinic?

Yes, payment must be received in full before any services or evaluations begin. AFC Urgent Care Downingtown is not a free clinic. Please check with the local health department regarding these facilities and their availability in the area.

If I am looking for urgent care services near Modena, what can I expect from your urgent care center?

Our urgent care center treats a variety of common injuries and illnesses. We can handle just about any ailment you would generally take to a primary care doctor, but instead of making an appointment, you could be seen today! We treat fractures, sprains, strains, lacerations, and cuts throughout the year at our facility. We also treat many illnesses, such as upper respiratory infections. Grade 3 sprains, strains, and fractures where the bone pierces the skin (considered to be life-threatening) should be seen in an emergency room or by a specialist. Simple fractures and minor to moderate sprains can be easily treated at our clinic at a fraction of the cost compared to an emergency room. We can get you in and out without spending hours or incurring a hefty bill. If you have yet to receive treatment at an urgent care center, you are neglecting an excellent healthcare source in the Modena area!

Our clinic in Downingtown has an onsite lab and x-ray available seven days a week. No appointment is needed for either of these services, so feel free to come in! (Please note that some lab testing may be available at the end of the day.) Forget waiting for a doctor to be available to receive the diagnostic tests you need to feel better. After reading the tests, we'll review the results with you in a language you understand and send you home with copies. At your request, we can send copies of any tests to your primary care provider.

We also have COVID-19 testing and COVID-19 antibody testing available. All COVID-19 related tests are done in a separate room, or sample collection is conducted curbside. We frequently clean our clinic and abide by CDC guidelines to keep our patients and staff safe. Please call ahead if you suspect you have symptoms of COVID-19. For your convenience, you do not even need to leave Modena to get treatment for your urgent care needs!
