Blood pressure is measured in two readings: systolic pressure, which measures the pressure of the blood when the heart contracts, and diastolic pressure, which measures the pressure between heartbeats.

As a standard part of any medical visit to our urgent care center, the physicians at AFC Urgent Care Dunedin will check your blood pressure to ensure you are not at risk for any heart-health complications during your visit.
