Q: Where can I find your AFC Urgent Care centers in Danbury?

A: AFC Urgent Care of Danbury has two convenient locations for your convenience: one at 2 Main Street, situated at the corner of Main and South Streets, and our latest facility at 100 Mill Plain Road, both within Danbury.

Q: What are your hours of operation?

A: We are open 7 days a week:

Monday - Friday:

8:00 AM - 8:00 PM

Saturday - Sunday:

8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Q: Do I have to schedule an appointment?

A: No, appointments are not mandatory. You can receive prompt care during our business hours, and scheduling an appointment is also available if you prefer.

Q: Do you accept my insurance?

A: We work with most insurance carriers.

Q: Do you accept Connecticut Health Exchange insurances?

A: Yes, we accept all Connecticut Health Exchange insurances.

Q: Can I make payments online?

A: Absolutely, we offer a user-friendly online payment system for your convenience.

Q: Are lab services offered?

A: Absolutely, we have an in-house laboratory for diagnosing most conditions and illnesses, such as thyroid disease, strep, STDs and more!

Q: Do you test for STDs?

A: Yes, we do provide STD testing! You can trust that we handle your medical information with utmost confidentiality and discretion.

Q: Do you offer allergy treatments?

A: Yes, we provide allergy treatments to alleviate common allergy symptoms such as coughing, sneezing, itchy eyes, runny noses, etc. Additionally, we offer nebulizer treatments for allergies triggering asthma.

Q: Do you administer seasonal flu vaccinations?

A: Yes, we provide seasonal flu vaccinations. For seniors, we also offer “fluzone” high dose flu shots, as well as the most up to date versions of the vaccine for immunocompromised and pregnant individuals.

Q: Can you conduct sports and camp physicals for my children?

A: Yes, we can. No appointment is needed. Just come in on a walk-in basis, and we'll perform the sports or camp physical. If there's a required form, please bring it with you.

Q: Do you perform immigration physicals?

A: Certainly, our roster of medical experts consists of State of CT-certified Civil Surgeons with the qualifications to carry out immigration physicals and provide vaccinations for individuals entering the United States.

Q: Do you perform gynecological exams?

A: We perform gynecological exams when appropriate. However, we do not perform Pap Smears.

Q: Do you offer “same day” physicals?

A: Besides sports and camp physicals, we also do “same day” annual physicals. We also offer immunization physicals, pre-employment, and DOT physicals.

Q: I'm going abroad; do you offer travel immunizations?

A: Yes, please visit our website to learn more about our Travel Medical Program.

Q: Is COVID-19 rapid testing still part of your services?

A: Certainly, we are still offering COVID-19 rapid tests at our center, ensuring that individuals can quickly access this vital screening tool to support ongoing efforts in managing public health and safety.
