Dr. Jijoe Joseph is an Emergency Medicine Attending Physician at St. Joseph Medical Center. He is the immediate past Vice-Chairman of Emergency Medicine at both Manchester Memorial and Rockville General Hospitals in Connecticut where he also served as the Systems Stroke Medical Director as well as the Director of Emergency Medical Services (EMS) for Hartford County. His educational experience includes two medical doctorates as well as an MBA in Organizational Leadership.
Dr. Joseph trained in an ABEM and ACGME accredited ACS Level 1 Trauma Emergency Medicine residency program and completed additional Fellowship training through the American College of Emergency Medicine with a specialty in Teaching.
Dr. Joseph is CEO/Chief Medical Officer of AFC-East Hanover, has worked in the Urgent Care arena since 2016 as a clinician, and has worked for 7 separate AFC (American Family Care) locations throughout NYC, Westchester and Suffern and Queens Counties.
With over 17 years of experience in the Health Care industry including the aforementioned, Dr. Joseph has parlayed his passion for clinical medicine, his vehement approach to productivity and educational excellence, and affinity for business and technology to deliver paradigm-shifting care to his patients.
Dr. Ilya Parizh is an Emergency Medicine Trained Physician who has been in clinical practice for 6 years. His expertise includes Emergentology with training at Long Island Jewish Hospital/Northwell Health, one of the largest health care institutions in the United States.
His specialty interests include pre-hospital care, disaster management, mass casualty, tactical medicine, and end-of-life care issues. With his robust training at a world-class institution, Ilya decided he would take his expertise and combine his love for medicine and natural gravitation towards individualized acute care and venture into Urgent Care Medicine for the next phase of his career.
Ilya is CEO/Chief Operating Officer at AFC - East Hanover. He is tasked with improving the company operating efficiency, relishing the idea of establishing order from chaos. His objective is clear: Creativity and fortitude are the backbone of efficient internal operations.
Ilya has a solid understanding of management, industry specifics, and strategies with excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. His goals are to develop and implement strategies, procedures, and processes needed to enhance growth, and improve patient-centered care. He is tasked with leading the executive team to set patient-focused company goals while cultivating and providing opportunities for rising talent within the organization.
