Fever: Fevers are common with colds, but when you have the flu, your temperature may rise to between 100ﹾF and 102ﹾF.

Body Aches: No, you’re not aging by the hour, but when you have the flu, your muscles and joints such as your head, back, and legs may be painful to move.

Chills and Sweats: If you feel like you constantly need to reach for a blanket, you might be experience the chills.  Your body may also overhear, which can cause excessive sweating even though you haven’t been exercising or it’s not hot outside.

Dehydration: The same way you need to replenish your body with water after a great workout, the same applies when you’re sick.  With your body losing fluids from sweating, you’ll probably feel dehydrated.

Fatigue: While getting a cold can make you feel less chipper, the flu will make you want to stay in bed all day. Sleeping
