AFC Urgent Care in Bridgeport Ends the Year on a Positive Note
Recipient of the 2015 Bridgeport IMPACT Awardee for Health Care
(Bridgeport, Conn. – December 18, 2015) – On Wednesday evening, December 16th the AFC Urgent Care in Bridgeport was awarded the Regional IMPACT Award for Health Care from the Bridgeport Regional Business Council (BRBC).
Each year, the BRBC recognizes individuals or organizations that are making an IMPACT in our areas of public policy focus – sustainability, health care, education, small business and economic development. The BRBC felt that Owner and Medical Director, Dr. Steven Heffer and the Bridgeport Team have really jumped in to provide much needed services to the city’s residents, and have also been a great community supporter.
In the changing landscape of health care delivery, AFC Urgent Care in Bridgeport is providing important services to our community. With a mission to provide the best healthcare possible, the AFC Urgent Care Bridgeport team offers patients a kind and caring environment, respect for patients’ rights, and the availability of economical services at times and locations convenient to the patient.

AFC Urgent Care Bridgeport is Dr. Heffer’s first urgent care center opening in March 2014 and the center is continuing to assist the citizens with their health care and emergency needs.
