March means we’re in the season of birds chirping, flowers blossoming, and spring sports beginning!
Whether you’re cheering on your student-athlete from the bleachers, or if you’re participating in an adult sports league, injuries can occur. As a parent or an athlete, it’s important to be aware of injuries that can take you off the field and out of the game.
Some injuries we’ve seen at our urgent care center include:
- Bumps and scrapes
- Minor cuts
- Stitches
- Ankle/foot sprains
- Hamstring strain
- Shin splints
- Tennis elbow
At AFC Urgent Care Fairfield, our urgent care center is fully equipped with an on-site digital x-ray system to diagnose and treat sport injuries for both children and adults.
