We think you’re located in zip code 19446. Not Right?
If you or a loved one suffers a minor accident or injury, your first thought may be to immediately visit a local Lansdale Emergency Room. Your primary care doctor is unlikely to have same day appointments available, so this might be your only practical choice. However, there is no need to visit an expensive and overcrowded ER. Instead, visit the board-certified doctors at AFC Urgent Care Lansdale and utilize our onsite, digital x-ray to search for any fractures. No appointment is needed to access this service, and we will analyze these images to make sure there are no broken bones.
If we find any fractures, we will stabilize the injury so it can begin to heal properly. A delay in the diagnosis of a broken bone may prolong its recovery and make it more expensive. It is always a good idea to know for sure with an x-ray. Even if you suffer a sprain or a strain, a fracture may be hidden in that injury. We strive to get you in and out as quickly as possible at our walk-in urgent care center.
Our x-ray services are available seven days a week, meaning you can see us when it is most convenient for you. X-rays will be read on site, and our doctors will go over the results with you before you leave, giving you your answers in a single visit. We will then send you home with a CD copy of the images we take and can forward them to your primary care doctor upon request.
We look forward to meeting you at AFC Urgent Care Lansdale!
X-rays do use small amounts of radiation, but they’re generally safe for adults and children. That being said, there are some cases where they can be damaging – to developing babies, for instance. Your AFC provider will take your circumstances into account and answer your unique questions about safety.
Your local AFC team can help you answer that question when you contact them. If you’ve experienced a fall or other injury and are in pain, an X-ray could help determine the best course of treatment. They’re also used in a variety of other circumstances.
At AFC, we always strive to get you in and out as quickly as possible, and the X-ray itself should only take around 15 minutes
