When someone should visit our walk-in medical clinic depends on the age of the patient. You should immediately bring them if they have trouble swallowing or breathing. A telltale sign in infants of having trouble swallowing is unusual drooling.
As an adult, if your sore throat does not clear up after a week, you should come and see our Board-Certified Doctor to get checked out. Consider visiting our facility sooner if your sore throat's pain or difficulty swallowing becomes more severe, you experience a rash or an earache, or if you have a fever greater than 101° Fahrenheit. You should seek immediate care if you discover phlegm or blood in your salvia or find a lump in your neck.
What causes a sore throat?
