Each year Santa arrives just a little earlier in Methuen than he does everywhere else.
On Saturday, November 21st, we here at AFC Urgent Care Methuen had the honor of participating in Methuen’s annual Santa Parade. As active members of the Methuen community, the Santa Parade is always a joyous occasion for us. This year was especially joyous as our very own Managing Director, Lisa Williams, was selected to be the Santa Parade’s Grand Marshal by Methuen Mayor, Stephen Zanni.
As Grand Marshal, Lisa meandered through the parade route from the comforts of a 1938 Jaguar SS100, chauffeured by Al Torrisi and sitting alongside Mayor Zanni. The real privilege though, was to simply be a part of such a wonderful experience in our great community.
Events such as the Santa Parade make us proud to call Methuen our home. Where else do people gather year-in-and-year-out to sing holiday carols prior to Thanksgiving? The music, floats, and crowds all made this day beyond exciting! Above all though, the best part about the Santa Parade is the holiday spirit and amazing sense of community created by the great turnout.
Methuen’s sense of place inspires us to provide quality care. This is an easy job, given the warmth and support we have received from patients across our community. It is therefore our number one priority to illustrate our thanks by continuing to provide Methuen with our very best, and to continue giving back in as many ways as possible.
So, from all of us here at AFC Urgent Care Methuen, we promise to keep serving Methuen’s medical needs with the passion and diligence that our residents deserve. And thank you for the honor of serving as the 2015 Grand Marshal.
