Last week, the team at AFC Urgent Care Methuen had the pleasure of attending the Methuen Lower and Upper Grammar School End of the Year Picnic. The picnic celebrates another successful school year and simultaneously welcomes in the beginning of summer.
While we were there to donate water, we felt like we were part of the fun, as we participated in a number of fun activities that the school provided. There was also a giant inflatable slide that the kids had a terrific time playing with at the picnic. It was an absolutely beautiful day and served as the perfect sending off to all the students who’d be leaving to go to the next level.
After attending the Thompson School last week for their end of the year celebration, we’ve been in the summer spirit at our center. While everybody’s excited for the start of summer, unfortunately, summer is the time of the year that the emergency rooms sees patients with most injuries suffered outdoors.
We treat these injuries at our center – all on a walk-in basis, meaning no appointment’s necessary to take advantage of our services. Many children will also be attending summer camp in the next couple weeks, so if your child still needs their camp physical, visit our center today! For more information, call us at 978-975-0700. We look forward to being your go-to destination for all non-life-threatening medical needs this summer!
