What Can I Expect at an AFC Visit?

We know that it can be overwhelming or even downright scary to be seen for an injury or illness. We’ve been there ourselves! Our team works hard to put you at ease as soon as you walk through our doors. Our happy faces and confidence in your care can ensure you are being well-taken care of.

Once you are checked in and a room is ready for you, you are led back and you meet with one of our top-notch medical providers. He or she will do a full evaluation and ask you a lot of questions just to be sure you both understand each other. You can even expect a joke or two or comment about the weather! We are your neighbors and friends, after all.

Can I Be Diagnosed Faster at AFC?

In addition to our personal touch and relationships with our patients, we also are able to more fully assess you in person. A peek at your tonsils or the back of your throat is much more effective than just a glance through a screen. We can get a better understanding of your symptoms, and we can get a more accurate diagnosis.

We can also use other tools that aren’t available at a virtual visit! Our X-ray machine, our on-site lab and our rapid testing system can all help us form a faster and more comprehensive diagnosis. Our goal is to take care of you to the very best of our ability, and an in-person visit is how we do that.
