Back to school season also means sports season is starting back up. 1 out of 3 families has at least 1 child that is enrolled in school sports or physical activities. We here at AFC urgent Care Nanuet encourage parents to enroll their children in sports because it is a good way to keep them active & healthy. All physical sports come with a risk, so it is important to be mindful of potential injuries that your child might get.

Lacerations are deep cuts that can occur during sports. More than likely a laceration will require stitches. We will clean the wound & asses if stitches are necessary.
