AFC Urgent Care Pennsauken is a walk-in urgent care clinic that treats non-life threatening injuries and illnesses 7 days a week for patients of all ages. Here are some questions we get asked frequently.
Do you accept my insurance policy?
Our urgent care center accepts a wide variety of health insurance plans as well as offer affordable self-pay options.
How much is a typical visit?
For insured patients, we collect your deductible and/or your co-pay at the time of service, and then bill your insurer for you. After your insurer sends an EOB (explanation of benefits) to us, AFC Urgent Care will bill you for any balance still due.
Do you perform physicals?
We can do sports, camp, and school physicals. We also do pre-employment and DOT physicals.
Do you provide seasonal flu vaccinations?
Yes, we provide seasonal flu shots. We recommend patients to get their flu shot as early as October.
Do you provide STD testing?
Yes, we conduct confidential and discreet STD testing 7 days a week.
Do I have to make an appointment?
No, you can walk-in during our normal business hours and be seen by a physician without a long wait.
Do you offer travel immunizations?
Yes, we offer a wide variety of travel vaccinations and medicine. We will consult with you about which vaccinations you should get according to your destination.
What is the difference between Urgent Care and Emergency Room?
Urgent care is for conditions that require prompt attention but do not pose an immediate, serious threat to your health or life. If your medical issue is life threatening don’t hesitate call 911 or go to a hospital emergency room.
