Most Common Types of Headaches and Their Symptoms

Before we treat your headaches, we first need to determine what type it is. Here are some of the most common chronic headaches that people suffer from:

• Migraines: These headaches are recognizable because they can be extremely painful and throbbing. • Cluster: Cluster headaches are probably the most painful headaches one can have. They're characterized by burning and/or piercing pain behind one or both eyes. They usually happen a few times per day, for a few hours at a time, which can last up to a few months -- hence the name "cluster".
