Frequently Asked Questions at Walk-in & Urgent Care Clinic in Ridley, PA
At AFC Urgent Care & Walk-in Clinic in Ridley, PA, we look forward to helping you feel better.
What Type of Medical Treatment do you provide?
We specialize in fast and effective physician care for most non-life-threatening conditions due to illness or injury, preventive care, travel medicine, allergy testing, and employer services. We bridge the gap between a primary care physician and the ER, providing extended hours, seven days a week, with CLIA-certified labs, digital x-rays, splints and braces, vaccines, prescriptions, and some non-narcotic medications.
However, if you have a life-threatening condition or emergency, you should always call 911 and seek a hospital ER.
What is the difference between Urgent Care and Emergency Room?
Urgent care is for conditions that require prompt attention but do not pose an immediate, serious threat to your health or life. In general, if your medical issue is life-threatening, call 911 or go directly to a hospital emergency room. If not, an Urgent Care Center such as AFC Urgent Care is an excellent alternative.
