Dr. Vincent Meoli – Medical Director for AFC Urgent Care Massachusetts
Dr. Meoli received his medical degree from the Boston University School of Medicine in 2002. He spent a challenging medical internship year training at Boston Medical Center. Specialty training took him to Bronx, NY where he completed his Emergency Medicine residency at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 2006. In 2007 he became a diplomate of the American Board of Emergency Medicine.
Since he completed his training, Dr. Meoli has been an active member of the emergency medicine community. He has practiced in a myriad of settings- from an isolated hospital on a sleepy island to major trauma centers in Boston and New York. Currently he is a member of the Northeast Emergency Associates caring for the communities on the north shore of Boston.
Dr. Meoli works to maintain his skill and knowledge by participation in the specialty societies. He is an active member in the American College of Emergency Physicians, an organization that works to promote high quality emergency care and continuing education opportunities. In 2010 he became a Fellow of the American Academy of Emergency Medicine, an honor bestowed upon those emergency physicians who are at the forefront of the specialty and who provide superior emergency care.
Having enjoyed his emergency practice for over a decade, Dr. Meoli began taking on a new challenge. In 2013 he started to play a role in the emerging world of Urgent Care. Initially with Doctors Express, now AFC Urgent Care, he quickly realize the niche which this practice filled in the current health care environment. In 2018 he became the regional medical director of six AFC urgent care centers throughout the state of Massachusetts. Armed with his knowledge and experience in emergency medicine he works to ensure that the patients are treated in the highest quality environment and with the standards set forth by evidence-based medicine.
Today, Dr. Meoli continues to provide emergency care to the acutely ill and is working to ensure the healthy growth of a new type of medicine that is needed to fill the gaps in the community. He is proud to watch the steady growth of the AFC Urgent Care family and to be part of the exceptional medical care that they provide.
