At our walk-in urgent care center in Philadelphia, we have a state-of-the-art lab available seven days a week. We can provide you with various diagnostic tests with no appointment ever needed. Our lab is available to our board-certified doctors as a tool to help them diagnose your illness. Available laboratory testing allows us to confirm or eliminate why you might not be feeling well. In some cases, tests can be processed while you wait to give your results in a single visit.

Often, physicals for work or specialized physicals such as a DOT Physical or Immigration Physical, require some lab work to complete. Instead of having to visit a testing facility and waiting days for that test to be processed and completed, you can get many of those required tests at our clinic. Regardless of the reason for your test, we will provide you with a full report of your results and review them with you. We can, upon request, forward those lab results to another doctor or specialist.

There are times when results from lab tests may take several days to process to return results. In these instances, you can expect quick communication from our clinic to inform you of the test results. Some lab tests take several hours to complete and may not be available within 3 hours of our stated closing time. We ask that you call ahead and check with our staff regarding the testing you need to ensure you can be served promptly. We cannot start any test that would finish well after our closing time.

AFC Urgent Care South Philly is located at 1444 W. Passyunk Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19145. There is street parking out front, and we have a parking lot behind our facility. We are open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Please note that not all lab tests are available at the end of our business day.
