Lab Testing at AFC Urgent Care South Plainfield
Our AFC Urgent Care South Plainfield has an on-site lab that is CLIA-accredited, COLA certified, and NJ DOH inspected as moderately-complex. As such, our urgent care center is equipped to handle most diagnostic lab work on-site within minutes! Pursuant to a request from our staff physicians, our skilled certified medical assistants are able to conduct a wide variety of lab testing for patients, including:
- Hematology testing (e.g., complete blood counts – CBCs)
- Chemistry testing (e.g., comprehensive metabolic panels – CMPs)
- Urinalysis
- Rapid strep throat testing
- Mononucleosis (i.e., ‘mono’) testing
- Rapid flu testing
- STD testing
- Drug screenings
Because our lab is on-site, patients are able to receive most lab results quickly and conveniently within a few minutes. Our center is located at 907 Oak Tree Avenue in South Plainfield.
