We are following local and state health department guidelines for vaccine distribution.
Virginia is now in Phase 2. Everyone, 16 and older, who lives in Virginia is eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine!
I meet the criteria for the COVID-19 vaccination. How do I get it at AFC?
In order to receive the COVID-19 vaccine, you must call us at (757) 335-4755 to make your COVID-19 vaccine appointment. Right now we will be booking appointments for the first dose on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The second dose will be administered on Tuesdays and Thursday. All patients must have an appointment for their COVID-19 vaccines.
Insurance information will be collected for all private payers, Medicare, and Medicaid. People with no insurance will be charged an administration fee at the time of service.
What vaccine is offered at American Family Care?
Availability will vary. Some vaccines require two doses, if this is the case you will receive additional information about scheduling the second one when you are here.
