Causes of Lyme Disease

Caused by ticks in grassy or heavily wooded areas where ticks which carry Lyme disease thrive. 

Symptoms:

Symptoms can be seen early or late. Can occur until a month. 

• At the site of the bite a red circular bump or rash will appear
• Fever
• Chills
• Aches
• Swollen lymph nodes
• Stiffness of the neck

When to see a doctor 

If you have been bitten by a tick and have symptoms of lymes disease If the tick is attached to the skin If you see the symptoms Even if you don’t see the symptoms
