DR. SCHARUKH JALISI, MEDICAL DIRECTOR

Dr. Jalisi is a graduate of the Boston University School of Medicine and has been practicing medicine in Boston since 2005. He is a board certified Otolaryngologist- Head and Neck Surgeon. He serves on national committees related to patient safety and quality. He has won numerous awards including Best of Boston physicians since 2010 and has been named in US News & World Report Top Doctors list 2011. He lives in Newton with his two kids and wife. He enjoys coaching his kids’ soccer teams and engaging in mission trips to third world countries.

DR. SCOTT SIMMONS MD, MEDICAL DIRECTOR

Dr. Scott Simmons is a graduate of Rush Medical School in Chicago. He then completed a Family Practice residency in Mayo Clinic in 2011. After which he did a Fellowship in Sports Medicine at Boston University. He currently serves as Medical Director for AFC Urgent Care in Watertown with a specialty in sports injuries. He been practicing medicine for the last 8 years.

JENNIFER, MEDICAL ASSISTANT

Jennifer comes to AFC Urgent Care from Wellesley Primary Care Medicine. Her desire to work in an Urgent Care setting brought her to our facility in the Spring of 2013. Jen has very strong clinical training in phlebotomy, EKGs and laboratory testing.

JOSEPH MATTHEWS, X-RAY TECHNOLOGIST

Joe comes to AFC Urgent Care Watertown from Boston Children’s Hospital. He is a licensed RT(R) through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and holds a license for the state of Massachusetts. Joe did his Bachelor’s in Radiologic Sciences from Adventist University of Health Sciences. He is a highly knowledgeable, quality-driven, and patient-centered Technologist with 5 years’experience of providing exceptional diagnostic imaging.
