Q: Where can I find your Danbury urgent care centers?

A: AFC Urgent Care of Danbury has two convenient locations for you to choose from: 2 Main Street, situated at the corner of Main and South Streets, and our newest location at 100 Mill Plain Road, both within Danbury.

Q: What are your hours of operation?

A: We're open 7 days a week:

Monday - Friday:

8:00 AM - 8:00 PM

Saturday - Sunday:

8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

*Please check the website for inclement weather and holiday closures.

Q: Is scheduling an appointment required?

A: No, appointments are not obligatory. You can receive prompt care by visiting us during business hours, and you also have the option to schedule an appointment.

Q: Do you take my insurance?

A: We participate with most insurance carriers.

Q: Do you accept Connecticut Health Exchange insurances?

A: Yes, we participate with all of them.

Q: Can I pay my bill online?

A: Yes, we now provide all patients with a user-friendly online payment system. No more waiting for a bill in the mail.

Q: Do you provide lab services?

A: Certainly, we have an on-site laboratory for diagnosing most conditions and illnesses.

Q: Do you treat allergies?

A: We provide treatments to alleviate common allergy symptoms and triggers, such as coughing, sneezing, itchy eyes, runny noses, etc. We also offer nebulizer treatments for when allergies trigger asthma.

Q: Do you provide seasonal flu vaccinations?

A: Yes, we have the necessary seasonal flu shot. We offer the most up to date flu vaccinations for all ages including, those with elderly relatives who may be especially susceptible to the flu, people who know it will be difficult to miss work or school because of the flu, or anyone who hates getting sick! For seniors, we also offer “fluzone” high dose flu shots.

Q: Can you do sports and camp physicals for my children?

A: Yes, we can. No appointment is needed. Just come in on a walk-in basis, and we'll perform the sports or camp physical. If there's a required form, please bring that with you.

Q: Do you do immigration physicals?

A: Indeed, our team of medical professionals includes State of CT-certified Civil Surgeons who are qualified to conduct immigration physicals and administer vaccinations for individuals entering the United States.

Q: Do you treat STDs?

A: Yes, we do. Rest assured, we treat your medical information with a high degree of confidentiality and discretion. Please click here to learn more.

Q: Do you perform gynecology exams?

A: We perform gynecological exams when appropriate. However, we do not perform Pap Smears.

Q: Do you perform physicals?

A: We can perform sports, camp, school physicals, and annual physicals. We also offer immunization physicals, pre-employment, and DOT physicals.

Q: I am going abroad; do you offer travel immunizations?

Q: Do you currently offer COVID-19 rapid tests?

A: Yes, we still provide COVID-19 rapid tests, so that you can get your results quickly. Whether you are experiencing symptoms, getting back from a trip, or have been in contact with someone with COVID-19, come into our center to get tested today.
