A new law requires all DOT physicals to be performed by a registered medical examiner. This law takes effect May 21st and affect all those who need DOT physicals. The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration set up a National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners which registers physicians to perform these physicals.
