The owner of the Urgent Care Centers in West Hartford & Danbury, Tom Kelly, sat down with FoxCT during the morning news to talk about our involvement with the Pink Party. Pink Party CT is held in Blue Back Square right in the center of West Hartford. It is an event that benefits Komen CT. Feature live music, food, raffles, & a breast cancer survivors fashion show. Pink Party will be this Wednesday from 5-8 in Blue Back.
Tom discusses the importance of community and what we are doing to be of service to our neighbors. We can be found at most local events and have staff on-site to answer any questions folks may have regarding healthcare or our facility. We also produce “Medical Minutes”, short bite sized videos that people can watch just to get a better understanding of a recent or trending health issue. In just 1 minute you will have a whole lot more information on a topic that is seasonal like the flu or back to school physicals; or a trending health issue such as ebola or EV-D68. In addition to those efforts made online and at events, you can often find one of our doctors at a local educational seminar. We partner with community organizations, schools, or company’s in an effort to deliver health information from our subject matter experts.
