Why Choose AFC for COVID-19 Testing

COVID testing is an important service whether you’re vaccinated or not. Many people remain vulnerable to COVID-19, and if you’re feeling sick, you could be putting those around you at risk. AFC offers COVID testing right on-site, giving you quick results to let you know whether or not you have COVID-19. Furthermore, we also test for Flu A/B and strep, illnesses that produce similar symptoms, so even if you don't have COVID, we can get you the proper treatment.

The Process of Getting a COVID Test

Your AFC clinic will perform two different COVID tests: A Rapid COVID-19 Nucleic Acid Amplification Test and RT-PCR COVID-19 Test. You'll receive your rapid results on the spot and will get the results of the more comprehensive RT-PCR COVID-19 Test online within a few days.

We know that if you’re feeling sick, the last thing you need is to wait for an appointment, so feel free to walk right into your local AFC to request a test.

If it turns out that you do have COVID-19, our providers will set you up with a treatment plan that could include medication, plenty of fluids, rest, and of course, staying home.

NOTE TO TRAVELERS IN NEED OF A COVID-19 TEST: We are no longer accepting insurance for travel patients. All travel COVID-19 tests are $255. All travel patients will receive a physical copy of results in 15 minutes for either the Molecular NAAT or Antigen test. If you are in need of a RT-PCR test, those results take 1-3 days and will be emailed. Please verify in advance if you need any specific documentation for your flight and notify us when you are seen. ***IMPORTANT: We encourage you to file your own claim with insurance for potential reimbursement. We can provide you with an itemized receipt with proper testing codes for insurance reimbursement at the time of service to aid in that process.
