“Our MA’s are the heart of AFC,” stated Kellie Slater,
Marketing and Outreach Director for AFC’s Yorktown clinic. “We
are so proud of the work they do each and every day. They treat our patients
as if they were their own family and work tirelessly to ensure the highest
quality care and comfort is provided. I am so proud to recognize our 6
fabulous MA’s: Lisamarie Hyde, Alyssa Martinez, Bryan Gonzalez,
Joseline Cuateco, Victoria Alejo and Jennifer Trippedo, thank you for
all you do!”
Medical assisting is an allied health profession whose practitioners function
as members of the health care delivery team and perform administrative
and clinical procedures. With their unique versatility, medical assistants
are proving to be the allied health professional of choice for this decade
and beyond. In fact, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics,
medical assisting continues to be projected as one of the fastest growing
