Medical Team in Arlington at AFC Urgent Care

Dr. Scharukh Jalisi, Medical Director

Dr. Scharukh Jalisi graduated from Boston University School of Medicine and now serves the Boston area as a Board-Certified Otolaryngologist. In addition to working at AFC Urgent Care Arlington, Dr. Jalisi is the Director of Head and Neck Surgery at Boston Medical Center. Dr. Jalisi has won a number of awards, including being named on Best of Boston’s top physicians and US News and World Report’s Top Doctors List in 2011. As Newton residents, Dr. Jalisi and his wife, Moushmi enjoy watching their children’s participate in youth soccer and embarking on health-related missions to third-world countries.

Dr. Scott Simmons, Medical Director

After finishing his degree at the Rush Medical School in Chicago, Dr. Scott Simmons earned his Family Practice residency at the Mayo Clinic in 2011. Following the completion of his residency, Dr. Simmons began his Fellowship in Sports Medicine at Boston University. With this specialty in Sports Medicine, Dr. Simmons works at both AFC Urgent Care Arlington and AFC Doctors Express Urgent Care Watertown.
