Primary Care Services

Conveniently See A Provider for General Health Concerns

Our Primary Care Practice is a great option for people who are generally healthy but from time to time need to be seen at a doctors' clinic for an illness or physical. AFC Urgent Care offers families professional, experienced medical care.

We have on-site lab tests, x-rays, and prescriptions, with no appointments needed to get care. We're a state-of-the-art urgent and express care center with professional medical staff on-site every day.

Need for more extensive care can be facilitated with a local specialist. AFC Urgent Care of Portland does not treat chronic illness or pain management. Referrals to a specialist will be given according to patient needs.

Here at AFC Urgent Care of Portland we do not take primary care lightly; we understand how critical this role can be in family care. With that in mind we hold our physicians to the highest medical standards and they will do their best to help your family every way they can.

AFC Urgent Care FAQs

  • When should I see an emergency room doctor?

If you’re experiencing a life-threatening emergency like a heart attack, head injury, or gunshot wound, the emergency room is the best choice. If you’re experiencing an urgent, non-life-threatening medical problem like the ones listed above, your local AFC can help.

  • How long does a typical visit to an AFC clinic last?

That depends on the services you need and how busy our office is that day. We’ve streamlined our services with wait times that are often under 15 minutes. Many people can get in and out in 30 minutes for primary medical care.

  • When can I visit my AFC clinic?

Another great advantage of choosing AFC is that we offer flexible hours that often go later than the typical primary care physician’s. Many of our clinics are open until 8:00 p.m.
