Additional Occupational Health Tests
Respiratory Fit Test
Our center’s OSHA-required respiratory fit tests are performed for half-mask n95 respirators. We make our fit tests prompt, as they are performed in our center in just 10 minutes.
Pulmonary Function Test
AFC Urgent Care New Bedford’s spirometry testing measures the speed and volume of breath.
Lift Test
Certain jobs require employees to lift a certain weight to ensure they’re strong enough to perform their job’s duties. Our center can administer these lift tests 7 days a week.
Tuberculosis Skin Test (PPD)
Our on-site lab allows us to perform prompt tuberculosis skin testing. We test and identify the tuberculosis-causing bacteria and provide further guidance if necessary.
Vision/Whisper Test
The Ishihara Color Test and Snellen Tests we perform in our office determine color blindness and visual acuity. We additionally administer hearing function tests.
