Iftikhar Ali, MD, Medical Director

Ifthikar Ali, MD, is the Regional Medical Director at AFC Urgent Care for Greater Hartford. He brings many years of experience in both urgent care and family care to AFC Urgent Care. He earned his medical degree from Punjab Medical College in Pakistan and later completed his internship in General Surgery at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, NJ and a residency in Nuclear Medicine at Danbury Hospital, CT. Dr Ali is board certified in 2 specialties and his accomplishments have been recognized in numerous publications and awards.

In addition to Dr. Ali’s role as Medical Director, he is heavily engaged in full spectrum clinical care, including outpatient, procedures, adult inpatient, and pediatric care. He is certified to perform DOT Physicals, and as a certified USCIS Civil Surgeon, allowing him to perform full immigration physicals, and is interested in workforce needs and collaboration with employers in occupational medicine &Workers' Compensation. Dr. Ali is committed to providing medical care with the highest standards of excellence and committed to patients understanding their illnesses and treatment.

Dr. Ali is happily married with three beautiful daughters and enjoys spending time with his family, watching hockey and soccer and is a BBQ connoisseur.

Dr. Ali is fluent in Hindi, Urdu and Punjabi.

Donna Lovallo, Operations Director

Donna has extensive experience working in a range of settings from large hospitals to small medical offices. She graduated from Bristol Hospital School of Radiologic Technologies and Quinnipiac University and previously worked at St. Mary’s hospital as well as St. Francis Hospital in Hartford. Donna was born and raised in Connecticut and adores spending time with her grandchildren.

Brandon Batory, Physician Assistant

Brandon graduated Springfield College with a BS in Health Sciences and a MS in Physician Assistant Studies. He is a Certified Fitness Trainer by the International Sports Science Association as well as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. When not working Brandon helps coach strength and conditioning and is an assistant football coach at Kingswood-Oxford School in West Hartford, CT. Besides coaching Brandon enjoys cooking and being active: playing basketball, football, and golf, and weightlifting.

Felix, Medical Assistant

Felix has 15 plus years of medical assisting experience including emergency, dermatology and gastrology and graduated from Springfield Community College. He brings his amazing personality along with compassion and dedication to both patients and his peers to AFC Urgent Care West Hartford. He is passionate about spending time with his family and speaks fluent Spanish.
