AFC Urgent Care Cleveland: Here for You When You Need It Most

We have been honored to help care for you and the entire Cleveland community during the pandemic. While we certainly changed up the way many of our processes and procedures worked, we were able to continue helping people while navigating through changing situations.

The pandemic’s emergency status will be expiring in May, and that will have a direct effect on the availability of telemedicine not only in the Cleveland area, but around the country.

Not to fear, however! An in-person visit at AFC Urgent Care Cleveland is still available and will always provide the benefits that a virtual visit cannot. Read on to learn more about our in-person visits below.

What Makes an In-Person Visit So Important?

Our team is part of what makes our center so special. While all of us work in this community, many of us live here, too! Caring for the community that we are a part of helps make each visit more personalized. In our opinion, having someone genuinely care about your well-being can help make a scary or overwhelming medical concern that much easier.

When you walk through our doors, each of our team members will do their very best to care for you quickly and efficiently. Not only that, but an in-person visit allows our medical providers to get an up-close and personal view of your symptoms. If we were to be separated by a screen, a complete evaluation can’t happen and things can get missed.

Reasons to Choose an In-Person Visit

  • Access to further testing
  • Better patient/provider relationships
  • Accurate and comprehensive diagnosis
  • Personal touch

What Can an In-Person Visit Do for Me?

If you had a medical visit during the pandemic, telemedicine was a great option to help keep people safe and minimize risk. However, it didn’t allow medical providers the chance to meet with people and perform a full evaluation. An in-person visit can help catch an issue that would have otherwise gone unnoticed, and it allows our staff to order further testing if needed.

While you are in our care, we can determine if blood work, an X-ray or a rapid test would benefit you! We can also take the time we need to in order to give you the most accurate diagnosis possible. When you come see us, you are truly family and we want what is best for you.

In-Person Services Offered at AFC

  • Thorough, patient-centered visits
  • Lab services
  • X-rays
  • Rapid testing for flu, COVID-19, strep throat and some STDs

We are always here for you. Come see us at AFC Urgent Care Cleveland today.
